Description:

In this Thanksgiving Day meditation we will turn to the book of Daniel for our inspiration. We will specifically look at the amazing deliverance God gave Daniel and his friends when Nebuchadnezzar demanded that his magi not only interpret his dream-- but reveal the content of the dream as well. When Daniel turns to the Lord in prayer and God provides the mysteries of the dream, he extols and glorifies God in a beautiful prayer of thanksgiving. On a day when so many people will be gathering around their tables and expressing thanks-- it is essential for Christians to remember Who we are thanking and for what. Towards that end, we will learn from Daniel some of the elements of a truly thankful heart. Our goal will be to approach our day of thankfulness with a full-orbed thanksgiving, just like Daniel!
